Privacy Policy
Compresso is built around client-side file compression. For the tools on this site, your files are processed locally in your browser and are not uploaded to Compresso servers for compression.
Files You Process
When you compress images, documents, archives, audio, or video, the work happens on your device using browser APIs and WebAssembly where needed. We do not store copies of your selected files, inspect their contents, or make them available to anyone else.
Information We May Receive
Like most websites, our hosting and analytics providers may receive limited technical information such as page requests, browser type, approximate location derived from IP address, device type, and error logs. This helps us keep Compresso reliable, improve popular tools, and diagnose broken pages.
Advertising and Third Parties
Compresso may show advertising or link to related tools. Google and other third-party ad vendors may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads, measure performance, prevent fraud and abuse, and personalize ads where allowed. Those third parties process data under their own policies.
Feedback and Support
If you email us, we use the information you provide only to respond to your request, investigate issues, and improve the service. For privacy questions, contact support@compresso.io.
Your Choices
You can use Compresso without creating an account. You can manage or block cookies through your browser settings and manage Google ad personalization in Google's ad settings, though some site features or advertising controls may work differently.
Updates
We may update this policy as Compresso changes. Material updates will be reflected on this page. You can also review our Terms of Service or contact us with questions.
